About Jessica

I'm Jess, a Brooklyn-based potty-training coach, and writer, who's looking for occasional/temporary childcare gigs as I work on a book and my business. I've been a caregiver since I was a kid myself, and have spent over two decades in childcare in some capacity; babysitting, tutoring, nannying, potty- and sleep-training, parent coaching, and household management. I have worked with children ranging from newborn to teenagers, multiples and I specialize in special needs children. I have worked with children with ADHD/ADD, Autism (verbal and non-verbal), Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays and childhood Schizophrenia as well as with a child with severe allergies and celiac disease. I'm adept at adapting to different children's needs, and my genuine love and passion for kids makes me a fun and engaging sitter. I love engaging in interactive play and age-dependent activities, and ensuring kids feel safe, happy and loved. I look forward to working with your family!
