About Jessica

My interest in working with children began in 1996 when I was in my 2nd year of high school. I chose the child development class as a special. I worked as an after school teacher assistant from 3-6 in a program in Waltham where I assisted children with their homework arranged activities with the program coordinator and supervised children during activities and field trips. In 2000, I started working full-time as an assistant teacher in a childcare center in Watertown with toddler and preschool age children. I maintained a safe environment for children to learn and grow. Prepared weekly curriculum's and activities. In August 2003 I decided to attend Mass Bay and take a early childhood course where I became infant/toddler and preschool lead teacher certified. I've worked in several day care centers with both infant/toddler as well as preschoolers . I've had my own classroom of 9 toddlers with an assistant teacher. I also have nanny/babysitting experience.
