I have worked with special needs children and adults on and off for 5 years or so. I am a preschool teacher and work with children with special needs on a regular basis. I am also involved in the Best Buddies Program with this wonderful young adult. I love doing this and find it a lot of fun. I love to be able to help experience all different events that they are interested in going to. In regards to working with children with disabilities I love to see the light bulb moment when they first get something that they have been working on for months. I personally had some learning disabilities, but with a lot of hard I have been able to overcome most obstacles. So I feel that I can bring some first hand experience to some of what these individuals are dealing with. I am excited to hear from you!
