About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jessica. I am originally from Georgia, but I moved out to the PNW some years back to pursue my career in fisheries management. I graduated with a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Georgia in 2017, and I graduated last spring with my MA in Sociology. I am now happily full-time employed, but I am looking for evening, late night, and weekend childcare opportunities. I have lived and worked abroad in Chile, Costa Rica, and St. Kitts. I love kids, and I spent several years in Bend, OR volunteering with an after school program called After School Buddies focused on providing a support system for middle to high school aged girls. In total, I have over 7 years of childcare experience. I snowboard, mountain bike, climb, and have hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. I've worked in environmental education, instructed undergrad college courses, and speak Spanish. Please let me know if you have any questions, need more information or would like to meet up!
