I have worked as an aide in Special Education for children with a variety of developmental, intellectual and learning disabilities, worked as an RBT doing ABA therapy for kids with autism and other related disorders, and am a long-term/part-time nanny for a child with a genetic developmental disorder affecting cognition and physical development. I have assisted with toileting, diapering and potty training, oral therapy, life skills, positive behavioral management, assisted with social outings, driving to and from appointments and therapies, some ASL production, am familiar with communication devices, have worked closely with SLP/PT/OT and much more.
