About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jess. I am a 37-year-old mother of two young children. I am currently the stay-at-home parent in our household, work as an occasional nanny and volunteer birth doula at UNC Hospital, so my patience, kindness, and empathy "muscles" are well-worked and fine-tuned! I practice respectful/attachment parenting with my own kids and strive to be a conscientious and intentional communicator with both littles and adults. Fun fact - our family's goal for 2024 is to spend 1, 000 hours outside as fresh air is great for the mind, body and soul! I am hoping to find a good fit for our family's schedule and overall work-life balance, while providing another family/individual with needed care and support. My availability is primarily evenings unless you are open to a tag-along situation with my 2-year-old son. I am also happy to look after animals, light cleaning, run errands, meal prep, or even help with things like holiday gift wrapping. Please contact me if I seem like a good fit!
