About Jessica

Enthusiastic, caring, creative Teaching and tutoring brings learning back to the student and allows for so many more opportunities to make it what they need and want- I love being a part of the transformation and finding ways to reengage with topics in new ways. I'm looking for an open and accepting environment, and consitency I started tutoring part time in college as a bilingual literacy aide for elementary school and in the writing center for undergraduates, and have continued working with students of all different ages, stages, and subjects since then I love to run around in the mountains, skiing, climbing, playing frisbee or cycling, and slowing down to make art and food with friends I like to make lessons as experiential as possible and different every time, like a mini "field trip" series more than homework review My skills include problem solving, patience, and organization
