About Jessica

Hello! I've been a tutor for the past 2 years as a college student and did some in high school as volunteer. On campus I worked as a chemistry tutor that engineering students typically held, but due to my character and academic record I was chosen. My area of expertise is chemistry and biology for high schoolers or college. I can also help with math for high schoolers too. My approach to learning is by talking out what a student is thinking. I think analogies are great way to conceptualize what's happening in the topics. Last summer I worked as a K-8 camp counselor that focused on STEM activities to engage students with science. It was a pleasure to get them excited about the things I love so dearly. Fully vaccinated (covid-19)
