About Jessica

Hello! I am a second year third grade teacher in Canton where I grew up. I did my student teaching in a fourth grade classroom and before that I taught pre-k for three and a half years at a nursery school. In the summers the nursery school would do a junior camp program that was a lot of fun too! I am also currently starting a masters in educational psychology program back at Eastern Michigan University that I should graduate from in December 2026. I am available for date night babysitting on Friday and Saturday nights during the school year and may have more availability during the summer. I enjoy letting the kid(s) choose what we do during our time together, but have also created ELA and math lessons to work on for a little bit of our time. Being off of screens, outside, cleaning up after ourselves, and using manners/respect are important to me when I spend time with children.
