Hi! I'm an active, creative middle-aged mom, w/ a BS in psych & associates in music. I seek work w/ kids 0-18. I love and have cared for pets and farm animals. My kiddo is a joyful teen, excelling academically, socially, creatively, athletically, and she demonstrates integrity. Parenting is hard. Being present, healthy boundaries, and kindness are my priorities. When I fall short, I apologize, and my daughter experiences the freedom that honesty and humility offer. Hands-on tasks that combine creativity w/ math, science, writing or time management make learning fun, and improve retention. It's an honor to learn from people and participate in their growth. In college, I tutored/subbed K-12, incl' kids w/ ADHD, dyslexia, aphasia, and ASD. I'm First aid/CPR trained, supervised youth programs, and volunteer w/ people overcoming trauma.
