Hello! I am a K-12 teacher with 15+ years as a classroom teacher, an Intervention Specialist, and a private tutor. In addition to my teaching credential, I have two master's degrees. One is a MA in Teaching Reading with a specialty in dyslexia. I am also an Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell instructor in both Math and Reading. Teaching is my second career. I pursued my credential to help students who struggle with academics while reducing shame and rebuilding their self-confidence. I look forward to both supporting and challenging your child in a way that meets their individual learning style. K-12 Reading, K-6 Math with special training and experience in dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Jessica is an amazing tutor - I cannot recommend her enough! She was incredibly kind and patient with my high energy son. He was struggling with his reading comprehension and fluency, and her tutoring had a huge impact on his class performance. In one trimester his cold reading comprehension went from 20% to 85% and his fluency went from 25 correct words per minute to 82 correct words per minute. My son is now performing at grade level and is very proud of himself! If you have an opportunity to work with Jessica, take it!
