I have had the privilege of being a nanny and child care provider over a span of 20 years. My last caregiving job (the past 4 years) was with a Navy program called Child Care Aware where I was working with families of kids with disabilities. I am now looking for part time work while having my 6-year-old with me. I am a mother of a 6-year-old, an aunt of 6 energetic and fun kids, as well as a past surf instructor for children and adults for 8 years. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have cared for children ages ranging from 1 years old to 17 years old and have had the privilege to be a part of youth programs aimed at helping teens make better life choices. I drive a 4 seat passenger vehicle and have a clean driving record. I am a healthy eating enthusiast and love to make healthy meals for my family.

To Whom It May Concern, I first met Jessica, 5 years ago when she came to work at the surf camps where I served as camp director. I remember very vividly, thinking to myself after her first day on the job, "WOW! This girl is amazing!" I watched as she interacted with each one of her students and was impressed by her intentionality and genuine care for each one of them. This is a quality that sets Jessica apart from other caregivers, she is passionate about pouring into the lives of the youth and she really puts her whole self into it. Spending a week straight, all day and all night with jr. high and high school students at camp is not always a low stress environment; in my 5 years of working alongside Jessica I have yet to see her lose her composer or even complain. This is another quality that sets Jessica apart, she does her job not only without complaining but she does it with great joy. She is a very organized, very prompt, assertive, responsible and genuine individual. I am am not the only individual Jessica has "Wowed."
