I am currently in my 5th year teaching Bilingual Special Education with MPS. I earned two bachelors in Spanish and Psychology from UW-Whitewater. Before my teaching career, I gave a year of service with City Year Milwaukee. In addition to serving as a Student Success Coach with City Year, English teacher in Costa Rica, a nanny to 2 little girls and a Spanish and Reading tutor to 3 girls. As a teacher and a tutor, I have experience writing lesson plans, assessing needs and designing academic goals that align with common core standards, and designing accommodations and implementation for individualized instruction.
