About Jessica

My name is Jessica. I'm 21 years old. I'm currently attending school at Point Loma Nazarene University and studying exercise and sports science. I'm on the track and cross country team, so I love to be active and running around. I've also taken a class at PLNU for teaching physical education for children. The class has taught me how to teach the basics to specifics of physical fitness to children from elementary and on. I've been working with children ever since 2008 and I absolutely love it. Last summer, I attended a missions trip to Armenia with a team from my school, and put on camps for children that attended local churches and orphanages. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I have previously worked for a swim school as an instructor for young children. I was also involved in Vacation Bible School at Church of the Valley for K-5. I also love animals, so I'd be happy to take care of any pets that you have!

Jessica is also FABULOUS with seniors. She is a companion caregiver for my mom who is in her 90's and recovering from a TIA. She accompanies her to in-house meals, takes her on outings (walks, shopping, movies, church, lunches/dinners, doctor appointments, etc.), takes care of the pets (takes the dog out on walks; feeds the bird), provides exercise/balance/stretching sessions and activities (memory games, crafts, music, etc.). Very professional (punctual, prepared, ready) and embodies the qualities we want in everyone: bright and intelligent, responsible, thoughtful, caring and compassionate.
