About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jessica and I currently work with the elderly population as an occupational therapist, but I am seeking to transition to a one-on-one caregiver role. I have experience providing home care services. I am available to assist with personal care needs, light housekeeping, simple meal prep, medication reminders, errands, and companionship for respite care. I am experienced with managing complex positioning needs, such as hand contractures, in order to complete hygiene and nail care. I am also experienced in working with individuals who have dementia and can assist with ideas to promote engagement in meaningful activities. I am competent with management of medical equipment, positioning devices, and orthotics/splinting. I am also available for consultation on community resources, home safety and fall prevention, and assistance with obtaining devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, etc. I am competent with infection control and wear a mask at all times.
