Growing up, my mom was a sped teacher and I spent a lot of time in her different classrooms with her students. As I grew up I knew I wanted to be a teacher and became dual certified in gen ed and sped. I have worked in a 12-1-1 classroom with an amazing group of 4th graders. Most recently I worked as a 2nd grade teacher in a gen ed class with 5 students with a variety of different iep goals. I have a class pet bearded dragon who has greatly helped my students work on their social emotional skills.
