About Jessica

I believe children are precious treasures who deserve the best care we can give them. Care givers are guardians of their innocence and the opportunity for them to just be kids, unhampered by the adult cares of life. Their curiosity and imagination should be indulged as is appropriate for their age. As with the children I currently work with, I am ready and excited to sing, dance, play, cook, and explore with your child(ren). My favorite activities include flying kites, playing games, pretending, playing with slime, cooking, baking, homework help, tutoring, and approved off-site trips. Helping has been my calling since I was in Junior High. As such, I offer my repair/maintenance skills in using screwdrivers and wrenches, basic fixes on toilets, unclogging drains, and whatever else is needed. I am happy to run errands, get groceries, school pick-up and drop off, and take your children to extra curricular activities. I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Jessica has helped me take care of my kid since the beginning. Without her, I'd be a single dad barely able to make things work. Before bringing her on, we talked about potential problems and more often than not she approached things the same way I would, but would adjust to my plans if we had any sort of disagreement. She has a strong sense of watching out for kids' best interests, even if it means working longer or going the extra mile. Jessica has a natural ease working with kids, talking to them on their level without being condescending. She is very aware of keeping parents in the loop on any changes or anything out of the ordinary, and having that second perspective has been immensely helpful. As far as qualifications are concerned, I can't imagine hiring anyone better.
