About Jessica

I'm a vibrant and creative childcare provider with a passion for nurturing young minds. I have had 10 years of experience, whether working at camps or as an activities coordinator. I also hold a WFR certification- wilderness first responder, and am proficient in first aid care. I believe in fostering open communication with parents, using their preferred method, to ensure we're on the same page regarding their child's well-being. I want to empower the adults in the child's life while also encouraging growth for the child! I am very comfortable enforcing household rules to maintain a structured and respectful environment. My past job required me to adapt and modify activities based on age, ability and on the direct care goal that was needed for the students. I used a lot of social skill building with my outdoor ed/ team building background! I also took my students on outdoor trips- I am very happy to get kids away from screens and enhance learning naturally.
