About Jessica

Caring for children started when I was a teenager. I would watch my younger siblings and family members children. When I became an adult, I worked at Muleshoe ISD as a substitute teacher. I worked there for a year and worked mainly with special needs children. It was so rewarding and a blessing to work with them. After that, I attended Clovis community college. I just had my second child so I was going to school full time and also teaching my children a custom curriculum I made. It was something new every day. The kids had so much fun learning and playing. It was a blast! One of my next jobs was a daycare teacher at Learning tree. I started off teaching 22 2-year-olds then moved to another facility and had 6 1-year-olds. I taught curriculum, monitored all activities. At that time, I was CPR and first aid certified. My last job was babysitting for a year and four months. I started watching Wesley when he was 6 weeks old until he was 18 months. He is like another addition to our family.
