About Jessica

Hello families, I am a recent grad from a Master's program in Social Work and am hoping to support with occasional pet sitting and child care needs while I wait for licensure from the board to begin my practice as a child and family therapist. I have 10 years of experience working predominantly with neurodivergent and/or disabled children who are experiencing symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness. This has taken place as a residential mental health technician, a full-time nanny, and a para-educator. I can work with multiple high needs children while caring for pets and maintain a high level of supervision. I enjoy engaging kids in creative activities, especially outdoors when weather permits and utilizing creative behavioral interventions to support kids with learning tools for emotional regulation and processing.
