I was chairperson for the Atlanta based Adopt-A-Grandparent program, which connected families with seniors who lived alone and encouraged relationships between generations. I have cared for terminal patients, assisted with bathing, feeding, changing, dressing, medicine management, and wound care. I have experience with dementia and victims of stroke. My brother is a paraplegic and I am proficient in offering physical care as well as understanding the needs and limitations to someone who is chair bound.
