About Jessica

As the eldest daughter of a homeschool family, practically my whole life is childcare experience! From one off date nights to full time care for working parents, I've done it all. Growing up in the homeschool community, a lot of my first clients were family friends & I still operate that way. I don't mind throwing in a load of laundry or dishes while kids are napping! The "family friend" approach works wonders on kids too, I find they're much better at listening when they feel like we're hanging out instead of being supervised. Kids are just smaller people, mutual respect goes a long way with them. That being said, I'm not a pushover either. I understand that homework, chores, & other responsibilities are a priority & I pride myself on making it just as fun. I have experience with neurodivergent children, as I was one myself! ADHD & Autism run in my family & we've spent most of our lives finding ways to work with it instead of against it, & I'd be happy to share with your family.
