About Jessica

I am Currently working as a birth and post partum doula. I work mainly with newborns but have experience caring for children of all ages and stages. I am a mom to 3 boys of my own and looking for daytime hours supporting a family i. My children attend a Montessori style school so I tend to be more child led in my caretaking style. My oldest son just started on a full scholarship to the School of Music for music education so I am a huge proponent for using music as an educational tool. I try to foster creativity and independence in my interactions with children while helping them see and appreciate the wonder and beauty that lives all around us. Nutrition and holistic healing is a huge part of my life as well. I'm a retired chef with a A. A. S in Culinary management so I can assist with cooking, menu planning, shopping, ingredient lists and teaching cooking skills. I can provide client reviews from my other job if necessary.
