About Jessica

I would describe my personality as sunshine, loving, and charismatic! I love working with kids because it's a rewarding job, seeing their faces light up when they learn new things like coping mechanisms, problem solving skills, or intriguing scholastic information! I started working with kids when I was 15, I would babysit on the weekends, then at 19 I became a daytime nanny for 3 yrs. I later began to work at a kids shelter home, for almost 2 yrs. Absolutely loved it and gained even more experience! In my spare time, I love spending time with my adorable baby niece. Also, I like to go to coffee shops, hiking with friends, and read. My skills include mastering a method to calm and put a baby to sleep almost instantly! Another skill is being able to communicate and get through to children, helping them feel heard when they are sad, angry or don't understand their emotions, they need a little help and it's definitely ok. Also, another skill is having the eyes of a hawk, being alert!
