About Jessica Denise

Hello! I'm Jessica B. I attend Appalachian State University and currently study Studio Art. I hope to be an animator and children's book illustrator after achieving a masters degree in the Fine arts. I spent over a year instructing art class- pottery on the wheel, watercolor, printing- to children with trauma and disabilities. Through this I learned care over achievement. I was able to understand each child as an individual and had to work to build bonds and become a meaningful figure in their lives. I currently work at the Lucy Brock Development Center as a literary assistant, learning innovative ways to build strong bases for children in reading and writing. I love to teach. I graduated high school as an AP scholar and am passionate about literature, science, art, and music! I currently have a 3. 7 GPA.
