About Jessica Denise

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, artistic, and patient. I love to teach the arts and sciences, from gardening to pottery. Another passion of mine is literature! I like the feeling of teaching a kid something new or showing them to overcome their fears. I remember how hard it could be to be brave or to express myself. I enjoy helping kids achieve whatever they desire to! I spend a lot of my time caring for animals as well, creatures of all kinds are extremely important to me. I work at the Lucy Brock Child Development center at my college, Appalachian State University. I am a literary assistance and have been trained to not only care for a child's needs, but to ensure their path of development is one full of love, support, and exploration!
