About Jessica

I am a thoughtful, kind and empathic person. I am hard working and always maintain a positive attitude. I take pride in the work that I do because I am passionate about the jobs I choose to do. I have several years of experience working with children professionally. I worked at the Otter Creek Child Center in Middlebury VT as a preschool teacher for a classroom of two and 3-year-olds from August 2014 to June 2015. For the summer of 2014 I worked as a chef for the children attending Camp Killoleet in Hancock, VT. From February to June 2012 I worked for the Addison County Supervisory Union in The Success Center program at Mary Hogan Elementary School that dealt with children of different ages who had experienced trauma and abuse. For a year, beginning in February 2011, I worked as a paraprofessional for Windsor Northwest Supervisory Union at Bethel Elementary School working one on one with children with special needs including behavioral challenges. From February to October 2011 I worked for Aris Solutions providing private care to a 9-year-old boy with Down Syndrome. I also have years of experience babysitting through high school and college.
