About Jessica

I have taught in the States for two years and a half years, kindergarten and first grade, and am trained in the Orton-Gillingham method for teaching Phonics. It is a special course that was first meant for dyslexic children, and is now implemented in classrooms with certified teachers with the training. I am current in a second grade classroom as a teacher's assistant working in small groups or one-on-one with any kids that need help. I also taught English in South Korea for three years with children ages ranging from three to 15, so I have a lot of patience and can teach from the ABC's to writing essays. For the younger ones I have created a Phonics Book using the Orton-Gillingham method It is for beginning readers, or students needing help with their reading/spelling, starting with letters all the way up to multisyllabic words and how to break them down.
