About Jessica

Hello! I started working in childcare almost 20 years ago and have been working in the preschool setting on and off ever since. When I wasn't working in childcare I was working in the restaurant industry, so serving others and multi tasking is in my nature. I believe children are unique people to be respected and given choices that guide their growth and development, as well as limits that maintain healthy exploration and safety. I have graduated from the ECE program at Cabrillo College and am a trained Montessori Guide for the ages 0-3. I have experience in many facets of care, and have developed a strong understanding of the young child and human development. I believe in following the child's interests and the awesome capabilities of young children, and in letting each child express themselves in ways that promote self esteem and exploration of the world. I have my own vehicle, a clean driving record, and feel comfortable with transportation. I would love to hear from you! -Jess
