About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as kind, empathic, and patient. I enjoy working with animals because of the unconditional love they give so freely. My adopted pup Sherlock and I were inseparable until his passing. My current love is a cat named Stanley. He's quirky, fun, & loving. My experience is through volunteer work. I walked dogs at a rescue shelter. In a county shelter I cared for rabbits & visited dogs that were often anxious & in distress. I eased their anxiety by talking, touching their paws, or sitting silently with them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cuddling with Stanley, and spending time with family. I also love to be immersed in nature. I've conducted home visits with children/adults w/ developmental disabilities and their families for 19 yrs. I understand pets are family. I keep that in mind whenever I interact with any animal that is not my own. Pet ownership can at times be challenging. I hope to fill the gaps for busy families to the best of my ability.
