About Jessica

I cared for my mom when she was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. She wanted to stay out of the hospital as much as possible. I drove her to her treatments chemo/radiation. My mom had a feeding tube and received bags of liquid food where different liquids had to be added. Then I would hook it up to her tube. I took care of her when she would get sick, needed help changing or cleaning up, all the way from diagnosis to her passing 9 months later. I was holding her hand when she died at home. Caring for a sick or elderly person is difficult for both you and the person. My mom hated asking for help. It is important to show the person that you enjoy spending time with them and everything else doesn't matter.
