About Jessica

I'm a compassionate, empathetic, & loving mother of 2 children (6 & 8). I earned my RN 1/2020. I work as a postpartum mother & newborn nurse. For years, prior to becoming a mother (& part-time in my home since having my own kids) I worked as a nanny/Au pair in SC, India, Germany, & Mali Africa. I love working with children, & parents. Recently, I've been busy finishing nursing school, & establishing my nursing career. But, now I'm looking for a way to earn a little more while still doing what I love, & also being with my own kids. I'm confident, energetic, & fun. I do think kids are kids, but it's up to adults to teach them to respect others, nature, and the world around them. Boundaries are imperative for children, but freedom to learn through play pithing those boundaries is equally essential. I am a loving caregiver/protector/teacher/tutoring, I am not a playmate. I teach kids about this world around us, through play, gardening, & exploring. Teaching & learning is truly my passion.
