About Jessica

Tutoring: I graduated from Dickinson College with a B. S. in Neuroscience and Biology and currently work in a Neurogenetics lab. I have participated in organized tutoring programs at all grade levels including: (1) Kindergarten (introductory reading/writing activities), (2) Elementary/Middle school (math/science), (3) High School (Biology/Chemistry/Pre-Calc/English), (4) College (Psychology/Neuroscience). Science and math are my best subjects, but I am open to tutoring students in others! Pet Care: I had cats, dogs, snakes, iguanas, and fish while growing up, so I feel comfortable caring for most house pets! I currently have a 2 y/o rescue dog and a 5 y/o leopard gecko. In college, I helped care for, socialize, and train puppies from birth through an organization called Susquehanna Service Dogs. I have experience administering medication, using positive reinforcement, and grooming. I can provide previous client and current veterinarian references upon request.
