I was promised a deep clean. She clearly states in her bio how she is meticulous. She said her first clean is always a deep clean and even alluded to 6 hours to clean so I agreed to a large amount to pay her. She poured cleaner directly onto surfaces and simply wipes it on but never rinsed it off. There were places she had poured it on but forgot where she poured it so there were large spots of the cleaner in puddles on the counter and even on my wood coffee table and end tables. So, the lemon smell IS there, but everything was streaked. She used the same cloth on all surfaces leaving grit and pieces of something on the surfaces. She did not move ANYTHING on end tables or hutches. Completely missed half of the master bedroom, missing and bedstand, dresser, & wall shelf. Dust is all around it. Never dusted the majority of the upstairs. Never mopped. She never shook out rugs or even vacuumed them. I have photos from every single room of the dust and dirt and dirt on my floors due to no mopping or no vacuuming. It appears very hurried and not thorough. There was no deep clean. She charged me $250 and was here for three hours. We decided to see, if she was that good, we would hire her. I assumed the bigger pay was for being here longer as she stated “deep cleans take time”. To be fair, she DID offer to come back and fix it. I do not trust this person to do anything she said she would do. Why would I trust her again in my home? She did NOTHING we agreed to. Nothing. So I did not allow her back into my home. She had her chance to shine and there was no shining, not by her and not in my home. I am extremely disappointed this did not work out. She talks a very good game, and being on this site encourages trust. What I have found is, there is no way to find someone on this site that’s been vetted to be a good cleaner. They just don’t have a criminal background. Read their fine print. They’re just making $$ off of you needing a service. At one time, this site was genuinely a place to find good help. Those days are gone.
