About Jessica

Hi everyone, my name is Jess! I have 5 1/2 years of experience with kids ranging from 16 months to 12 years old, both as a teaching assistant and as a nanny. My aim is to provide loving, attentive, and supportive care while providing healthy boundaries and expectations for the children I care for. I enjoy making the days fun for the kids and joining them in outside play and inside activities alike. Previous families that I have worked for have noticed that their kids feel comfortable coming to me with their concerns and feelings as I try my best to create a safe space for them. I am able to do pick up and drop off, take kids to extracurricular activities, prepare and cook meals, do laundry and light housekeeping, help kids with homework and reading, provide structured play such as crafts and games. I can care for kids independently or in tandem with the parent(s). I try to stick as closely as possible to the routine that parent(s)/ caregivers have set up.
