I've been in the medical field for over 10 years and have been caring for the elderly for 3+ years. I have experience with hospice care, Alzheimer's, medication, wound care, home care assistance (cleaning, daily hygiene routines, house chores, cooking, etc.), experience with wide range of medical supplies, and transportation assistance. I believe that the elderly should be provided with gentle and loving care, getting old isn't easy and losing independence can be very hard to cope with so it's my job to make sure the patient knows it's ok (and sometimes better/safer) to have some assistance. I strive to make sure the patient feels 100% comfortable, happy and is well taken care of.
