About Jesse

Hello! My name is Jesse from Brooklyn,. I am 22 years old and returning to Cedar Falls in August to continue school. I have been watching children from ages 0-10 starting when I was 12. While attending Hawkeye Community College I worked at the child care center in the 1-year-old room. During that time I took on the position to sub full-time as a lead teacher. I also worked at the UNI child development center in the infant and 1-year-old room before covid hit. After the daycare closed I began my first nannying job for a family with two children ages 3 months and 3 years. When deciding to take a year off from school I moved to my hometown and started nannying two other children ages 3 months and 1 year and I am still currently at that job. My responsibilities included caring for the children and maintain a safe environment for them, preparing activities for children, preparing meals, daily cleaning tasks, and caring for pets.
