About Jesse

Hi! I am a young woman living in Carrboro, NC, with extensive experience as a full-time nanny and occasional babysitter. Additionally, for the last several years I have worked in developmental psychology research where my main responsibility was interacting with infants and children (newborn - age 4) and their mothers. Included in my training was certification in infant, child, and adult CPR. As a nanny, I provided care, transportation to extracurriculars, enrichment activities, and light housework for 40 hours a week; as a research assistant, I worked directly with infants and toddlers to conduct MRIs and assessments. Throughout all of these responsibilities, I work hard to always maintain a professional but warm, calm, and encouraging demeanor, especially in situations that can cause discomfort to both parents and children. I also have experience tutoring children of all ages and would be more than happy to help with that as well!
