About Jessa

Hi! My name is Jessa and I am a first grade teacher in Key West. Working with kids has been a passion of mine since I was little! I have been babysitting for over 10 years and I was a nanny to 3 little boys for the four years I was attending college. I have had the opportunity to work for many different families, ranging from 1 child to some with 5 children. Not only was I a nanny during my college years, but I also worked for the Disney Hotels on my free days. I received my Bachelors degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida and am currently working toward my Masters degree in Elementary Education. When I'm on break from school I love to travel! Last year I spent the year teaching in Nicaragua and loved getting to know the people and culture and learned so much throughout that experience. I am happy to be back in my hometown for a while now and spend my free days relaxing by the ocean or pool with a book in my hand.
