About Jerri

I am a part-time management consultant with 25 years experience in the software industry. Although I do not have kids of my own, I enjoy working with children. As a young adult, I spent a lot of time supervising homework and projects of my younger siblings. Over the years I have taught kids swimming, horseback riding, dog showing and driving. I seem to have a knack for reluctant drivers. I've befriended several girls over the years. One of them just came to visit. She now has a PhD and is a patent agent! I am patient, positive, kind and if something isn't working, I try a different approach. I provide a lot of encouragement and positive feedback for progress. I am also neurodivergent, diagnosed as an adult. I understand many of the challenges related to living with ADHD and Autism and strategies to be more successful with difficult tasks and situations. I have empathy. I can help students with most subjects through high school except high level math and science. Tech savvy.
