I'd describe my personality as bubbly, nurturing, empathetic. I love caring for seniors because they are often overlooked or unintentionally put lower on the priority list. Sometimes they don't have family to help or loved ones are super busy with their kids, jobs, etc. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my gifts of caregiving. I started caring for seniors when my dad was diagnosed with dementia about 8 years ago. My mom was alive and she was the primary caregiver. After my dad passed, we soon realized my mom had early onset Alzheimer's. It was then, that I became a primary caregiver and developed a love for seniors and caregiving. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my boys (16 and 22). I also love walking, gardening and puzzles!!!! One thing you should know about me is I LOVE seniors! They make me smile and my heart happy! My skills include: 1. knowledge of dementia 2. navigating home health, senior living facilities and hospitals 3. Kindness and love
