About Jennifer

I have had a deep passion and love for animals since I was young. I've had a variety of pets from iguanas, geese, hamsters, to dogs and cats. Currently my husband and I have a household of 3 dogs, 2 cats, a parrot, rabbit and chinchilla so feel very comfortable around a variety of critters. I have cared for a number of pets through dog walking, pet sitting in clients' homes, and feeding when clients are out of town. I also have a strong passion for animal rescue and have worked with local rescue groups in the past. Currently I work as a humane educator and reading tutor where me and my ambassador dog go into elementary classrooms to teach young students how to care for various companion animals correctly so they may live happy and healthy lives as well as a program where students read to my dog on a one-to-one basis to enrich their literacy skills in a setting free from stress or criticism.
