About Jennifer

Hi, I'm Jenn! ... and yes, you read that right: my 13th child graduated a couple of years ago, and by then I'd also nannied the neighbor's boys, taken in eight exchange students, and cared for a series of older ladies. I've also got 14 grandchildren, and it delights me to watch my daughters as mommies! Needless to say, I have gobs of experience. I am pretty high-energy, I love to teach art & crafts and be outdoors in nature or the garden, am not so-much into sports and DEFINITELY NOT into plugging kids into tech! (... okay, watching a movie on a rainy day is fine....) And I love squirrels. I'm hoping to serve a family who shares my Christian values and my parenting philosophy, which my youngest daughter described as, "My children will become adults." In other words, I believe that children are in training for an awesome future serving others, and I want them, each day, to work on being their best selves, having a great time and learning adult responsibilities.
