I started working with kids who had special needs as a coach for a swim team when I was 16. I coached three different kids who were all on the Autism spectrum. I have also taught toddlers who were also autistic as a teenager. I am currently working with kids who have special needs as a worker and the coordinator for the special needs ministry at my church.
