Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am 19 years old attending Northern Arizona University. My younger brother is autistic so I have always had a passion for helping children with disabilities. My senior year I worked with many children in a special education class with a range of moderate to sever disorders, the most common were autism and down syndrome and after working with these kids I decided to major in special and elementary education. I now work as a part time respite worker in San Diego when I am home for summers and winter break. I work with a range of adults an children and help them complete their daily functions and duties. I love my job and I would love to find another opportunity here in flagstaff working with children or adults with special needs.
