I enjoy reading, puzzles, nature, games, music, art and learning. I'm currently learning sign language and can teach your child to communicate this way also. I'm a US Army veteran. I've worked in the medical field for 20+ years. I have nannied for 5 families previously, and currently nanny full time for one family. I am most experienced with infants. I have all clearances. I volunteer at the Carnegie Library and at the Free Store in Braddock. I strongly believe in the values of kindness, inclusivity, and freedom to be yourself. You must be LGBTQ+ accepting. I'd love to spend time with your family and go on adventures to the zoo, museums, picnics, and other fun things. Jen has been full-time nanny for our little one for several months, starting when Baby was about 5 months old. She is fantastic and I’d highly recommend her to any family. Our daughter absolutely adores her and lights up whenever Jen comes into the room. Their days together have been full of variety. Some days are outings to the library, museum, or parks. Others are simpler with just a walk around the neighborhood and lots of books and age-appropriate crafts. I really appreciate that Jen takes our lead as parents but also makes suggestions based on her extensive experience. For example, she’s helped us with the 3-to-2 nap transition, helped figure out how to incorporate elements of baby-led weaning into Baby’s feeding routine, and started teaching sign language. Jen is flexible, great at communicating what’s going on with Baby that day. Most importantly she’s a kind and generous human, she’s become a friend as well as a nanny. While our need for a full-time nanny is coming to an end, we continue to work with her for date nights and weeks when my wife or I is traveling. Hire Jen to nurture your little ones; I guarantee you won’t regret it!
