About Jennifer

I am a Christian, have been a stay-at-home mother with my own children, co-owned an infection control business with my husband for 12 years, and am now looking to spend my pre-retirement years caring for children again now that mine are grown and flown. I love children of all ages. Our home has been open to a flow of children these past 28 years from neighbors children to cousins to families I've known through church, and I am confident managing small or large groups of children. I still have a lot of energy and love to play outside with the kids and enjoy day trips to nature centers, the zoo, science center, or any place where there is hands-on learning available. I love to read and give children a love for books and learning. I enjoy cooking and use healthy ingredients. I drive a car that is reliable and safe for transporting children. I'm basically a 49-year-old grandmother in training. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and cats so a home with that situation would not be a good fit.
