About Jennifer

I have my Master of Arts in Elementary Teacher Education and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I am currently an impact and substitute teacher and I tutor on the side. In my impact position I work with ELL students and struggling readers in grades K-5 to give them the skills necessary to become fluent readers. I home-schooled my youngest daughter through kindergarten and she was reading at a 2nd grade level by the end of that year. I love children and want to be able to help them develop the skills to make them successful and to develop a love of learning. I have also spent many years as an instructional assistant working with children in grades K-8 that have learning disabilities such as ADHD, Autism, and Down Syndrome. Along with my schooling and teaching experience, I have much experience as a volunteer in the elementary school classroom and experience working one-on-one.
