Hello! My name is Jennifer and currently working with children with Autism and/developmental delays /disabilities. With working with the elderly, I have experience with older adults at the Senior Center and Adult Day Health Center in OT ( participants ranging from MS, Diabetes, Dementia, etc), I've done many activities from doing energy conservation for activities, meal-prep, medication management, arts & crafts and engagement in physical activity (light exercise: stretching to aerobics). Prior, I worked an elderly woman for 4 years (on and off) helping her meal-preparation with mediation management, putting on stockings for her edema, and getting dressed. I enjoy building positive relationships with the elderly, and believe I am a great fit for this senior care provider position.

Jennifer taught my 93 year old mother how to exercise for better mobility and strength. She helped her to strengthen her back and legs for easier walking. She also taught my mom easy moves in order to get up from a fall. Jennifer is very caring, friendly and fun to work with. She’s an excellent teacher, very patient and kind which encourages any elderly person to stick with their exercise plan. Jennifer also speaks Cantonese which was a huge help in speaking with my Cantonese mother.
