Hello, my name is Jennifer. I have 32 years of experience working with children and adults with special needs. I have a 30-year-old son with Autism. I have worked in my former community over 16 years as a Special Education Assistant Teacher, School Van Driver and as an in-home caregiver to adults and children with different types of special needs. I take great pride in being a family person as Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I view myself as trustworthy, honest with good values. My passion is being a caregiver; it's who I am, for my family and community. This is what drives me to do my best! I look forward having the opportunity to meet you and your family.

It is with great pleasure that I offer my very strong endorsement of Jennifer K. I have known Jenn for several years as we were extremely privileged to have found her during a very difficult period of our lives. Our family was challenged with our young adult son, who has Down Syndrome and other disabilities, as he transitioned to adulthood. He is a wonderful and sweet person but began to experience intermittent explosive disorder. With this diagnosis, we struggled to find a placement for him after he completed school. Jenn was recommended to us as a life coach for him. Jenn was much more than someone who took care of our son during the day. She was much more than a life coach as well. Jenn became an integral member of our family team as we coped with the behaviors while seeking medical solutions. Jenn is truly one of the most committed, dedicated, sensitive, and naturally intelligent people I have ever met. She is also very tough and resilient. She was sensitive to our family situation and was instrumental in bringing our sweet son back to us. Jenn puts passion into everything that she does. She studies the needs of a given situation and quickly masters the needed skills. For example, she was able to quickly master sign language skills as well as develop an understanding of the various medical challenges that our son faced. Having this background information allowed her to be exactly what our son (and our family as a whole) needed to get through this time. She is an involved and deeply compassionate person while taking a no-nonsense and very upfront and honest approach to her work. Regardless of the job she may be seeking, I can assure you that she will be successful because of the person she is. I can honestly tell you that she is someone that I admire and respect as much as anyone I have been associated with in my life. Sincerely, Gary
